In 2020, as the pandemic drove a surge in sports app downloads, a surprising insight emerged: younger audiences were becoming increasingly inactive. Existing solutions weren’t resonating — traditional fitness apps felt too serious, too solitary, or simply not fun enough to create lasting engagement.
My big idea was to make fitness feel more like play. Spark blends social connections, game-inspired mechanics and fashion to transform workouts into something fun, engaging, and shareable.
I led the project end-to-end: from early research and trend analysis, to ideation, content direction, 3D production, post-production, product design, and finally, app launch. Spark is more than an app; it's an innovation project that invite to move, play, and connect.

Spark’s journey happened in three phases.
First, we dove into what makes young people move — digging into trends, behaviors, and what’s missing out there. With prototypes and feedback, we tweaked Spark’s core until it felt fresh, fun, and spot-on.
Next up: building Spark’s vibe. Teaming up with an art director, we crafted a look and feel that’s bold, playful, and inclusive — from logo and colors to 3D visuals and social buzz.
Finally, we dreamed up ways to share Spark with the world. Staying flexible, we mapped out partnerships and community ideas to keep the momentum rolling — ready to grow as we learned.
All along, I kept the gears turning across research, design, production, and marketing — making sure Spark went from cool idea to real deal.

I was really inspired by this cool new sport called breakletics that’s popping up in Berlin. Even better, I got to work with one of the people who started it — they helped create the content, starred as the main character, and even did the motion capture moves. Having them on board made everything feel super real and authentic.
